the new TEAMS™ is now installed at the norwegian defense

The Norwegian Defence has upgraded to the latest solution from Emisoft, TEAMS SR. The Norwegian Defense Research Institute (NDRI) is responsible for The Norwegian Defense environmental reporting.

The Norwegian Defense has a large and complex organization and expects to see substantial improvements and increased flexibility when using the new TEAMS", says Kjetil Longva, responsible for environmental reporting at NDRI. All defense units have been using TEAMS for data registration and reporting since 2001 and it is considerable amounts of data that each year are registered in the system.

The scope of the Norwegian Defense environmental reporting requires a powerful reporting system. By upgrading to TEAMS Sustainability Reporting, the Norwegian Defense has procured the most modern and flexible solution available.

Main reporting issues includes consumption of energy, ammunition, water and chemicals, waste, acute discharges, and procurements with environmental requirements. TEAMS also contains a comprehensive register with more than 2000 chemicals. Furthermore, parameters describing levels of various activities are registered, such as man-years, building volume, flight hours, etc. This makes it possible to compare the environmental performance between different units.

The new TEAMS is designed for the needs of today and the future. Emisoft considers it a declaration of trust that the Norwegian Defense which is a major user of TEAMS - already at this stage envisages considerable improvements and advantages by upgrading to TEAMS Sustainability Reporting.
