TEAMS Sustainability Reporting is used in the decommissioning and recycling of at least 9 North Sea installations for ConocoPhillips (at Ekofisk).  TEAMS will be used for both logistics management as well as environmental documentation.

The installations are to be removed module by module and transported to Vats, at the west coast of Norway. Here, all modules will be cut up and sorted. It is envisaged that 96% of the total mass will be recycled. The logistics module in TEAMS, will give an exact overview over all materials and amounts from the different modules - starting before they are dismantled at the North Sea locations until they are handed over to the final destination for recycling piece by piece. The environmental module in TEAMS will give a detailed documentation of all environmental aspects of the project, from the determination of greenhouse gas emissions to discharges to sea, analyses of dangerous waste, noise, work hours, etc.

AF Decom has very strict documentation requirements versus their contractor, the Norwegian Government as well as internal reporting. In TEAMS, all reports are individually adapted to the various purposes. In this way, AF Decom can at any time give verified documentation of status, such as within material flow and environmental loads.
