About Emisoft

Emisoft AS was established in 1992 in Bergen, Norway.

The corporate Head Office is located in Bergen. In Norway Emisoft is represented through offices in Stavanger, Bergen, Florø and Trondheim. Emisoft Sweden and Emisoft India was established in 2009, with offices in Gothenburg and Bangalore.

Sustainable Development defined in 1987 by the UN, by the "Brundtland commission" quotes: "A development that, meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."

Based on a combination of strong competence in Environmental Science and Information Technology Emisoft have established itself in a unique market position by delivering Sustainability Competence and Systems, to enable our customers to reach for the UN commission's definition of a Sustainable Development.

Since Emisoft foundation in 1992 the overall awareness and responsibility for a Sustainable Development has increased and resulted in focus on strengthening rules and regulations and on international standardization, like GRI (Global Reporting initiative) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

Emisoft has been, and will always, stay in the middle of this ongoing development and put a strong effort into maintaining our position of delivering knowledge and system to continuously demanding customers.

Emisoft's ongoing development has over the years given the company the award for the world best Environmental Management System (PwC in 2001), and a substantial list of satisfied customers meeting the authorities rules and regulations, as well as market expectation on showing a responsibility towards a Sustainable Development.

In the autumn of 2008 Emisoft launched a fully upgraded software solution, TEAMS Sustainability Reporting. The system is already implemented with new and existing customers, and we keep our promise to enable our demanding customers to be frontrunners in showing Sustainability responsibility.

Not at least regarding new challenges as CO2 quotas, which requires a fully traceable and auditable system.
